2015 Fall TV Shows

Returning Fall 2015 TV Shows:

AWKWARD.: Season 5, episode 3 aired on Aug. 31 and was a fulfilling season premiere that opened many doors. Some relationships ended, some blossomed and some became messy. Now, Jenna’s committed to forgetting her feelings about Matty. Like she’s done in the past, many times. So will this time really be different? Or will she go back to Matty? We’ll just have to wait and see.

FAKING IT: The show last left off with Karma’s parents being arrested for drug paraphernalia on school grounds. A draconian change has now occurred with the school rules; the new principal who everyone hates has enforced a bag check before entering. Karma appears to have looked past the betrayal Amy and Liam thrust upon her. There was something Karma was hiding that we found out toward the end but I’m not going to spoil the horrible truth for you. Catch up on this witty show that you won’t regret watching until you binge watch it and realize it’s 3 a.m. on a Tuesday.

MODERN FAMILY: Season 6 left off with Haley having feelings for someone but not knowing if he likes her and vice versa. Phil, Haley’s dad, knows the truth. Will the season start up with them finally being together? Modern Family is one of the most relatable shows on TV today. I know I can relate to pieces of each character and that’s what makes it so great. If you’ve never watched Modern Family before, you should give it a try.

New Fall TV Shows:

SCREAM QUEENS: With so many celebrities in one show such as Ariana Grande, Emma Roberts, Keke Palmer, Nick Jonas and more, Scream Queens is the upcoming show catching everyone’s attention. From the previews, it looks hilarious but also scary (with a little cheesiness), but just enough to keep you on the edge of your seat. The only thing I’m worried about is if the acting will actually be good. Or will it be embarrassingly painful to watch?

THE PLAYER: From what I can tell, there are not many shows like The Player on TV now. It’s an action, drama, thriller with a hint of comedy. A past intelligence officer gets back in the game of justice and security after his wife was murdered in their own home. In a nutshell, he fights crime and is exceptional at what he does. The previews alone have me wanting more, but I can’t help but feel that it might be a little predictable.

FEAR THE WALKING DEAD: I’ve never watched The Walking Dead before, so I started this show not knowing at all what to expect. There were a lot of gruesome scenes in the beginning and it was also very confusing. I have a lot of questions, and I think I might be able to get past the blood and gore considering how well written the show is and how the end left me wanting more. Anyway, if gruesome is your thing, Fear the Walking Dead is definitely for you.
