Review: Buda Juice

Behind two glass doors is a shop with a refrigerator full of delicious juices. Buda Juice is a pressed juicery that offers juice, milk and soup. For the dedicated, they offer juice cleanses that range from one to five days. I’m not a huge fan of fruits or vegetables so I was skeptical when it came time to place my order. I got the No. 04 Blue Lemonade, a combination of apple, cucumber and lemon. They also offer other juices such as the No. 03 Orange Juice consisting of apple, carrot, cucumber and orange. The No. M1 Buda Milk contains almond, cardamom, cinnamon, filtered water and vanilla.

The Blue Lemonade was a perfect balance of all three flavors so no one was overpowering. It was a little sweet, with some tartness. Each juice comes in a glass bottle to preserve the flavor. They even have a recycling system where if you bring an empty glass Buda Juice bottle you get $1 off of your next purchase. Because of that, I’m encouraged to go back and eventually try them all. Pressed juice is a good way to incorporate healthy foods into your diet because you can drink them at your own pace whenever you like.

Right outside of the doors are employees handing out free samples of juices. I only disliked the price for each juice but knowing I can get $1 off every time I bring an empty bottle makes it seem better. Drinks range from $6.75 to $12, but I feel like you really are getting your money’s worth. Buda Juice surprised me with its quality, service and ability to get me to “drink my vegetables.” I will definitely swing by more often.
