“I’m really interested in psychology. [I definitely want to go into it]. I have some family that have gone into psychology, and I think psychiatry is especially interesting. I want to get to the bottom of if meds are really effective in the long term because there’s a lot of controversy over antidepressants or antipsychotics or different types of meds for mental illnesses. I want to try to find out alternative ways, even though there are some, like through counseling or through therapy. I know they definitely work for me and work for tons of people; I don’t think they’ve been out long enough. They haven’t really been able to judge the effects of someone who’s older and been on meds their whole life.”
