On Friday, Sept. 12, 2025, the Allen Eagles defeated Prosper Rock Hill during their Homecoming game. Playing against Rock Hill every year since 2022, Allen has won every game by at least 20 points.
Prior to the start of the game, the 2025 Homecoming court was announced. The sophomore court included Aadhya Aruna, Arturo Molina, Suhanna Hasan and Alex Pangus. The junior court had Kwaku Antiwi-Agyei, Raegan Burns, Dorothy Ozcomert and Avery Woolley. The senior court, along with a family member escorting them, was Clare Brueggen, Jaeden Boyett, Hannah Hernandez, Osiah McDade, Ava Liang, Brent Meily, Taylor Nguyen and Simone Richmond.
The winners were Simone Richmond and Jaeden Boyett, named Homecoming Queen and King. They were crowned at the Homecoming dance on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025.
Allen’s Sam Smado kicked off the first quarter at the 20-yard line. Early in the game, wide-receiver Caleb Smith took his opportunity and scored a 65-yard touchdown for his first of the night, making the score 6-0. Shortly after, Allen went back into defense before turning possession back to Allen. With Allen back on offense, Smith soon got his second touchdown of the night with a 64-yard punt return to the endzone with the score now at 13-0.
Now being back on defense, the O-line got their chance to shine with a sack by Josh Shaw. With a few more defensive plays, Allen regained possession, later setting up Smith for his third touchdown in the game with a 66-yard punt return into the endzone making it 20-0 for Allen.
Near the end of the first quarter Allen turned over possession on a missed field goal, with Rock Hill now having the ball in their 22-yard line. To cap off the end of the first quarter, running back Jaden Hambric completed a 15-yard carry touchdown ending the first quarter with a scoreline of 27-0.
Running-back Lyndon Spriggs scored a touchdown from the 9-yard line, starting the second quarter. Shortly after, tight-end Jaden Davis rushed the ball to the 37-yard line. Building on that momentum, wide-receiver Josyah Johnson scored a touchdown on a pass from quarterback Ty Snell on the 20-yard line. The action continued with C. Smith carrying the ball to the 31-yard line. Rock Hill responded with an offensive success of their own, as running-back Nathanael Lee completed a 9-yard touchdown.
Closing the second quarter, quarter-back Jeremiah Daoud passed to Johnson, completing a 25-yard pass resulting in another touchdown for the Allen Eagles, bringing the score to 7-49, with the Eagles in the lead.
Rock Hill’s Kicker Cohen Jones kicks off the third quarter, setting the ball at the 38-yard line. After a brief period of offensive play, J. Hambric scored a touchdown from the 3-yard line.
Ending the scoring period for the third quarter, defense-back Jasxiah Gibson scores a touchdown from the 43-yard line, bringing the score to 53-7 in favor of the Eagles.
Eagles started the fourth quarter with a 14-yard pass touchdown to wide receiver Semaj Johnson, increasing Allen’s score to 70-7. At the 2-minute mark, Allen’s defensive back Derrian Strauder blocked Rock Hill’s wide receiver Alijah Adefunmi from making a touchdown. Then Rock Hill scored their second touchdown of the game, bringing the score to 70-14, closing the fourth quarter.
The Eagles won their Homecoming game with a final score of 70-14. They won by 56 points, continuing their undefeated streak against Prosper Rock Hill.
