One word: pizza. The upscale pizzeria Pie Five is known as the elite Subway of pizzas. Located at The Village of Allen, Pie Five is changing the definition of pizza by serving fresh, sophisticated pies with a twist every day. Instead of choosing from the traditional “cheese pizza.” Pie Five allows you to create your own custom personal pizza from a wide selection of vegetables, meats and sauces. Pie Five is also beneficial for indecisive people because it offers preplanned recipes like the classic Margherita pizza and my personal favorite: Buffalo Chicken.

However, if you’re anything like me, sugar runs in your veins. The best place to unwind and relax after a meal is Yumilicious, also located at The Village of Allen. Frozen yogurt is the easiest way to bond with your date by trying the numerous flavors the store produces every day, from tart flavors like taro root to favorites like New York Cheesecake. However some of their flavors are not that appetizing, like “avocado tart froyo” which basically tastes like cold clammy guacamole ice or even the “maple bacon donut” frozen yogurt, which tastes like bacon puréed with plain yogurt and maple syrup. Not good. But Yumilicious has a huge selections when it comes to toppings like fruits, nuts, candy, sauces and “popping boba,” so why be boring and settle for just plain yogurt and some fruit when you can pig out and still look poised at the same time? It is “healthy,” after all.

Lastly, many people think watching a movie on the first date is cliché but we all do it. I personally believe it’s a great ending to just kick back, grab some Twizzlers and watch a movie with your significant other. Liam Neeson stars in his new mystery-thriller film: Nonstop. This movie keeps you on edge by exploring the pressures Bill Marks, a U.SFederal Air Marshal (played by Neeson), has when attempting to find the hijacker of Aqualantic Flight 10. Overflowing with shocking scenes and “What the heck” moments, Neeson flawlessly conveys the adrenaline rush and confusion that was intended for this film.
