Cr: Calvin Ku / The varsity color guard performed at the Coppell NTCA Open Championship April 3. I was told when I got older with color guard I would learn to appreciate winter guard season,” Demorizi said. “I didn’t like winter guard season, I just could not get into it. Last year with COVID we had to scrap winter guard season, it did make me start to appreciate it a little bit more.” This wraps up the winter guard season with a total of nine performances.

r: Tara Wright / The team huddles to listen to Schoettle’s advice. “I’m a pretty passionate person and I’m high energy, to me it’s just the feeling you get about taking your best and going against someone else’s best and regardless of the outcome,” Schoettle said. “There’s something special about going up against somebody and giving your best.” On Feb. 15, Varsity will play at 7 p.m. and JV blue will play at 5 p.m. against Sacsheon the Sachse High School Softball Field.
