Athletic teams and organizations around the school participated in Breast Cancer Awareness month during October.

During the pink-out pep rally on Oct.11, faculty members Dawn McCain, Nancy Lakvold and Denise Jones spoke about their experiences with breast cancer. The football team wore pink gloves, towels, socks and sleeves to showcase their support during the game that evening. The band wore pink gloves throughout the month and the cheerleaders had pink accessories. Tallenettes and color guard added pink accents during October as well.
