“I am a member – and unofficial officer, since we haven’t held elections yet – of the Gay-Straight Alliance, also known as the GSA. I love it because it creates a place within the school where I feel like everyone embraces me for who I am without prejudice. It helped me grow as a person, and it’s great to witness other people discover who they are as well.”
