“I’m only moving four hours away but that still seems so far. I try to think about what takes me four hours to do. I can watch eight or so episodes of The Office in four hours. Thinking about having to drive that far to come back home is nerve wrecking but I’m more than ready. I’m already in a ‘pokes state-of-mind.’ I think the hardest part will be adjusting to new people. It took me close to four years to find such an amazing group of friends and I only hope that the new people in Stillwater will live up to them. I usually picture college as this place with zero cares and hardships, but I know that’s going to be quickly proven wrong. I’m definitely going to miss my mom like crazy. She is my absolute best friend. I hope my dog doesn’t bite anyone while I’m gone either. She hates everyone except me. College… yeah. It’s going to be something new to say the least.”
