“I first got into track after playing volleyball in seventh grade because the coaches wanted me to run. I feel like everyone who runs track has a love-hate relationship with it because it’s like ‘oh, running,’ but at the same time you feel the adrenaline and fun of racing and relays. You build relationships with people on your team and they really become your family. Being able to run with your family, compete and aim for success is why I run track.”
