“I really like cosplaying. I made a cosplay of a character from a Cartoon Network mini series, no one’s ever heard of it. My first real cosplay was a really bad handmade Death the Kid costume from Soul Eater. It was horrible. I’m ashamed, but I had a really small budget. I got a blazer that my brother had, since Death the Kid wears a blazer and dress pants, and I put the stripes on with t-shirt fabric and velcro. The wig was meant for a different character but I changed my mind, so I just put white stripes in the hair. It was the wrong style but I was desperate and I had no money. I made some really good friends at that con where I dressed up as Death the Kid, now every single con that comes up we go to it together.”
