Volleyball team plays Southlake Carroll
The Allen Varsity volleyball team took on Southlake Carroll in the second round of the 2015 UIL State Tournament.
The Lady Eagles began with a five point lead in the first part of the first set but unfortunately fell short losing 25-20. The Eagles bounced back and came out of the second set triumphant winning 25-17.
In the third set, the Lady Eagles had a difficult time gaining a significant lead against the Southlake Dragons. Points went back-and-forth between both teams as well as the lead. Unfortunately, the Lady Eagles short by only three points, losing 25-22 in the third set.
The Lady Eagles fought hard in the fourth set and gave it all they got against the Southlake Dragons. Both teams fought over the lead but the Eagles fell short losing 25-18.
The Lady Eagles will not advance to the Regional Quarterfinal.
