Date night

Splitsville:

The Village at Fairview is probably one of the most underrated local places to go to for date nights. They have so many entertaining places to go to, like a beach and volleyball court, fountains and tons of restaurants. If you just want to have good and cheap fun for a quick hour or two, Splitsville is the place to go. It’s not your traditional bowling alley since it has a much cleaner and more modern ambience, but it’s a very fun and sophisticated place to bowl a couple of games. Splitsville is a great place to go for a date or even a friend’s night out; whether you want to break the ice with your first date or just want to hang out with a couple of friends, it’s a place you can count on for any casual occasion.

Food:

Splitsville actually serves pretty good food as well. When my friends and I went, we ordered cheese pizza, California rolls, calamari and a bowl of French fries, but they also sell lighter dishes, such as various salads. The California rolls were the best out of what we ordered and overall everything else was not bad. The price range of the food does not exceed $15, so it’s reasonably priced.

Dessert:

After bowling we walked around the Village at Fairview for a while. Then we headed to Starbucks inside Macy’s. It’s a small area, but it was perfect for us to get a drink. Instead of ordering what was on the menu they offered, we ordered drinks from the unofficial Starbucks secret menu. Being an avid Harry Potter fan since childhood, I ordered a butterbeer Frappuccino, a drink consisting of caramel and toffee nut syrup. I was a bit doubtful at first on ordering something I was not familiar with, but it was actually better than I had expected.
